This genre of music spawned several new styles of dance. Our our hip-hop / pop and lock teacher Derek Saelee will show you the moves in these fun, energetic classes.

Modern/Lyrical

Our Modern teacher, Janelle Kinsey, is ready to motivate your dancer to always try their hardest. Miss Christian Redmill and dance studio owner, Mrs Kristi Amacker, will continue to teach Lyrrical to our Intermediate and Advanced classes. Modern is a free, expressive style of dancing that developed in the early 20th century as a reaction to classical ballet. Lyrical is all about storytelling using ballet technique and a jazz style.

Acrobatics

  1. Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character and its unique choreography. Acrobatics is taught by our awesome instructors, Miss Christian Redmill and Miss McKenna Kimple.
